Are you sacrificing 4 months for 4 days?

The holiday season is 4 months long (November through February; Halloween through Valentine's).

When it gets to be the Fall season (ESPECIALLY with the lingering Halloween candy), people will often give themselves a "pass" and allow their health-building efforts to fall by the wayside.

It starts with "just" a few pieces of candy on Halloween. And then, more often than not, continues to trickle day after day.

Then comes the mindset of “I am going to start _____ after the holidays”.

  • I am going to start eating better after the holidays.
  • I am going to lose weight after the holidays.
  • I am going to exercise after the holidays.

Remember, there are only 4 actual days of holidays (5 if you count New Year's)!

Girl, I know that's not what you really want - sacrificing 4 months for 4 days.

I know you care about your health and how you feel in your body.

I'm sure it comes as no surprise that during the holiday season people tend to eat more sugar.
